Originally from the North of England, Sarah started riding at 7 years old and went on to work in racing for 20 years as a track rider. As you may guess, Sarah was a jumps jockey.
She looks up to Beezie Madden as a rider, and names Kiwi Relic and Benrose Rockstar as her best show jumpers to date.
Sarah currently competes with Benrose Rockstar (nicknamed, Snow, above) in an Erreplus JF saddle. An 18 year old thoroughbred gelding by Personal Escort, Snow is Sarah's Amateur rider horse jumping to a 1.20m.
Sarah's second horse is Coleraine Wind Chaser (below), a 10 year old Irish Draught gelding by Coalmans Touch. He is new to the team, and new to showjumping but shows potential. She also has a 3 year old filly by Windale Trumps out of Suzuki, who will go in foal before she debuts as at five.
Sarah takes care of both her and Bernard’s horses and keeps them looking immaculate, and works for PGG Wrightson Livestock.
